you can see bridge straight ahead has a sign with: 1 camera control 2 trucks forbidden 3 max 6.0t axle load meaning that crossing the bridge with this truck is an automatic fine for the driver. The lack of proper alternatives is always super annoying, but in this case it is semi understandable that the bridge just can't take heavy trucks.
Altijd leuk ! En door ! 🇳🇱
Frustrerend zeg 🥵😖😡 voor die chauffeur👁👁
Prutser
Gaaf hoor
Looks like the 2 vehicles are having sex
Najważniejsze, to umieć sobie radzić w każdej sytuacji.

Skill.
Driver is a boss
As a truck driver myself, I say that was ingenious... however... looking at the intersection after he left, I can clearly see he could have squized passed that corner with just his driving skills.. had he made that left turn with his cab further to the right and as much as close to that bridge as possible, then he would have had enough space to squize past that corner... but he made the turn to early and got stuck there... hats down to him for getting out with the forklift on his rear...
Things on camera can look different than in real life..
@@0210mick definitely correct Mick. They say people look bigger on camera. So the junction probably looks bigger on camera
as a truck driver yourself you are an idiot if you think he could do this turn without demoliting the house ...
Look again there a hedgerow on the otherside so i had no more space there ant the bridge is for bidden for trucks garded with several camera's
Held 🙌
Smart
This is normal in Netherlands! Roads are too fu*king narrow for trucks!
That was actually rather clever. Well done!
A man who can!
A super smart & very experienced trucker ! And lucky too ' to have an empty trailer !
Läuft bei euch.
I always wondered what those were for!
This is the VERY reason why a smart engineer invented REAR STEER Bogie & Tri axle sets for trailers like this one. I am 71 & have driven OD vehicles since I was 19 (not specifically for a living but a fill in relief driver ), when I first had chance to be on an OD 500ton ultra long load containing a turbine, where most of the trailer sets were steerable I thought wow, these could work well on your standard 40ft semi to get around corners. They use muktiple steerable axles on the OD size cranes. I seen a few rear steer 40ft and 48ft (ok Metric here in Aust) and they make a major improvement to the ability not just going forward, but backing into tight loading docks at Major Shopping Complexs
This is all fine what you wrote...but not every company can afford such trailers to expensive to buy and service it. Such low loaders for example are used in Europe only for heavy duty machines and not standard semi trailers. Only issue is the price tag, such system is way too expensive and it can go a lot wrong with it. They are now making electrical steering wheels which are more complex then hydraulic old systems. If only one sensor is fault you can not drive it straight anymore. Now we use cityliner trailers which are shorter with 1 steer axle, problem is you can't load much weight. There are also longer one with reinforced 1 and 2 steering axle. What you see in this video can not be avoided even with steering axles...the streets in some countries like Holland are so tight you could not believe it. Cheers from Swiss trucker
I've driven reefers with self steer axles. A brilliant piece of kit, so long as you don't forget to lock the mechanism when reversing in somewhere. The wheels end up pointing in different directions and the trailer can go anywhere. 😂
But even though he did a Great job with the Fork truck attached to his Trailer to get around that corner, the question still begs to be asked "why the heck was he in the situation in first place?" Was it :- 1. GPS route error based on vehicle size and road sizes/layout ? 2. His Company dispatchers error in not choosing a more suitable smaller size vehicle/s to deliver or pickup in this obviously limited access area for vehicles of this size ? 3. The local road authority for have no size limit signs on the area ? 4. Driver error. ? I do wonder. Anyway kudos for his ability to get out of the "jam". Mind you if trailer had been full it would have been a much different story
I think this is typical in Holland...trucks made today barelly fits on the streets there. Same in Austria, Switzerland and rest of small European countries. Who gets to be a truck driver in Switzerland and Austria are probably one of the best out there cause of expirience. Holland truck drivers are also on the top of the game. Driving a semi trailer trough such streets is a daily adventure.
I do the same with my grandmother..
Meanwhile in Nederland :))
Great driver...👍👍👍
Briljant opgelost kerel. Chapeaux!
Every driver needs one of these handy forklifts 😄

Haha drove for Home Depot for years before they lost their moral compass and outsourced. Had to do this very thing from time to time.
